Overpriced and underwhelming
ENHYPEN barely seemed to have a fully formed joke or be prepared for this tour. She had notes of jokes she was still working out, which seemed super odd for a show that people paid hundreds of dollars to go to. The amount of times that the term neo-nazis was mentioned in both her and the opener's set just seemed gratuitous at one point. It's not inherently a funny topic but maybe it could have been? I love when comedians have an overarching theme to their set and start off with a story, go on a ton of tangents and random jokes, and then bring it back around to the original joke, tying it all together. But if you can't make it funny, no one is forcing you to bring it up. Also, ENHYPEN did none of that and barely worked in the headline of her entire tour. I've been to shows where the comedian clearly states that the purpose of the set is to workshop material and has notes, tells the same joke in multiple ways, etc., but those tix were free or very cheap and at hole in the wall establishments, not at the Chicago Theatre. She also barely performed for 45 min; people who went to get a second drink hadn't even finished it when she wrapped it up. It literally seemed like a throwaway joke. Very disappointment and not worth the very expensive ticket price.
